BOTARI

Celebrating female-founded brands you'll want to know.
Since November 2025, we've been spotlighting the next generation of female-founded consumer brands and celebrating female entrepreneurship, showing that building a business is a real, viable career path for women from all walks of life, regardless of background, age, culture, or circumstance.
We started Mindful Brand to support women in succeeding in business - not just through what we do, but also in how we shop. We believe in a future where more seven-figure consumer brands are built by women, and we're committed to helping make that vision a reality.
Deciding which businesses to support is a personal choice.
If, like us, you prefer to champion female-owned brands, we hope you enjoy this series.
Today, we’re featuring BOTARI, founded by Molly Park in 2026 in the UK.
About the Brand
BOTARI is a modern K-beauty design house, bringing Korean skincare innovation and wellness culture into everyday rituals through a distinctive design point of view.
The brand is for the modern consumer, bringing the level of innovation expected from skincare into hand care, a forgotten category that hasn't really evolved. While so much thought, science and innovation goes into facial skincare, hands, one of the hardest-working and most exposed parts of the body, are often an afterthought.
BOTARI is about more than product performance. It's about creating things that feel fresh, joyful and unexpected, combining efficacy, fragrance, design and experience to make everyday care something to actually look forward to.
Meet the Founder
Molly is a first-time solo founder, born in Korea and raised between Korea and the UK, and BOTARI naturally brings those two parts of her world together.
Before starting BOTARI, Molly spent around 15 years building products and brands, most recently as Chief Creative & Product Officer at Papier and before that leading design at Oliver Bonas.
BOTARI is a culmination of everything she has been slightly obsessed with throughout her career across design, product and brand.

How She Started
Molly started BOTARI because she felt both the hand-care category and beauty more broadly were ready for something different.
She saw an opportunity to bring K-beauty skincare innovation into hand care and completely rethink a category that had become quite stagnant.
Creatively, she also felt a lot of beauty was starting to look and feel the same. She wanted BOTARI to operate more like a design house: ever-evolving, experimental and never static.
Creativity isn't something added at the end. It's part of the product, the packaging, the storytelling and the whole experience. She wants customers to have fun with BOTARI and always feel like there's something new to discover.
What She Learned
Molly has learned that building a business is really about learning as you go and becoming comfortable with uncertainty.
There are new problems to solve every day, and you don't suddenly wake up with all the answers. Confidence is built through solving one problem, then the next, and gradually realising you can handle much more than you thought.
She has also learned not to underestimate small momentum. You don't build a huge business overnight. It's a collection of baby steps, and each one matters.
One of the loveliest surprises has been meeting people along the way who genuinely believe in her and what she's building. As a solo founder, that support means an incredible amount.
