About the Brand
The Halva Lab is an Italian-based producer reimagining traditional sesame halva through a modern, artisanal lens.
Their vision is to celebrate the beloved Mediterranean treat by combining craftsmanship, natural ingredients, and a contemporary aesthetic.
The Challenge
The goal was to develop a cohesive visual identity that bridges heritage and modernity - honouring halva’s cultural roots while appealing to a new generation of health-conscious, design-aware consumers.
Our Approach
A visual identity system was designed to communicate warmth, authenticity, and quality, including the logo, packaging, and marketing materials.
A clean, bold wordmark establishes a confident visual foundation, while earthy, appetising colour palettes differentiate each flavour and create a strong shelf presence.
The interplay of nostalgic textures with modern layouts reflects The Halva Lab’s balance of tradition and innovation.
Typography choices emphasise clarity and honesty, while playful geometric shapes and colour blocking bring freshness and energy.
Packaging design highlights the product’s natural qualities and inclusivity, clearly communicating key attributes such as vegan, gluten-free, and lactose-free in a trustworthy and accessible way.
The Result
The final identity positions The Halva Lab as a contemporary artisanal brand rooted in tradition.
