About the Brand

Mixala is a luxury chai brand bringing a twist to chai. It takes the spices found in traditional Indian chai and blends them with bold, adventurous flavours.

Founded by a husband and wife team. Mixala was created from a simple idea: to make chai that feels special, comforting, and full of character.

The brand is for people who love flavour, warmth, and discovery - those who want something more interesting than a standard tea or coffee.

Mixala chai is made with care and love. It brings depth, warmth, and a touch of luxury to your everyday cup.

Meet the Founder

Jaspreet is a mum of three who grew up in Tanzania, where chai was never just a drink - it was part of everyday life. It was shared in moments of connection, hospitality, and warmth, surrounded by stories. Those early memories stayed with her, and she hopes to bring people together in the same way with Mixala.

She worked as an accountant and spent her career in finance. Mixala is her first business venture, born from a desire to build something of her own - something that blends her heritage with modern living and brings small moments of calm into busy days.

How She Started

Jaspreet had wanted to build something of her own for a long time, but she didn’t know what. During her maternity leave with her second child, she had a moment of clarity - if she didn’t start then, she never would.

She grew up drinking chai, which has always been a big part of her culture and everyday life. Seeing how adventurous coffee flavours had become made her curious. If coffee could be playful and experimental, why not chai?

That curiosity sparked the idea for Mixala - blending tradition with creativity and reimagining the spices in chai with bold and adventurous flavours.

What She Learned

Believe in yourself and don’t be afraid of what other people might think. You don’t need permission to start, and you don’t need to have everything figured out.

At the same time, stay on top of your finances. It’s easy to get swept up in spending before you’re seeing returns, but understanding your numbers gives you confidence, control, and the freedom to grow sustainably.
